Silent Stones

I like the look of relics, broken archways buried in gardens. The lush green vines wrapping their way around forgotten silent stones.

I like the look of crumbling walls, the edges where they are cracking forgetting their job, giving way to time.

Stone monuments once built by civilizations long gone now stand outside time in spite of us and our fleeting lives.

I like how they whisper secrets that only they can understand.

They know more than we will ever be capable of.

In memory of C.L.
